Our First Trip January 30, 2011

Well, not really a trip. We went to Chatfield State Park and pretended. Diesel would not stop barking at birds. I find him very trying at times. We went for a walk with Papa Field and "Samuel" as I now call the small child. He is loud and calls me "JETT JETT" in a high pitched squeal. I have learned to tolerate him if I plan to stay. Him and Diesel are perfect for each other. I am happy with Mama.

Here we are "camping" for the afternoon before she went to storage!

And so when my family got their own RV, she was named MISS IVY. They tell me we will be going lots of places in it, and will have to be good with no barking. Yea, right. All Diesel does is bark. Diesel is in a lot of trouble right now. He took a portrait that was drawn and of the small child out into the yard, opened the tube it was in, took it out and tore it up all over the yard. Mama Field is not too happy with him. I consoled her with Jetty Kisses.

Anyway, my family got a new RV and here she is, MISS IVY! This was a few minutes after we got her. Boy is Papa Field HAPPY!

And so, my family took their first RV trip in October 2010 and took Miss Ivy and her brother Hamish with them. Miss Ivy did not feel well and did not have too much fun, although she loved anything that came off the campfire at night!

When I first came to live with my family, there was an elderly lady named Ivy living there. At first I thought she was a complete bitch, but eventually, she was Mama Ivy and let me snuggle up with her. I miss her now, and so does my family. She was almost 15 years old, they tell me.
